George Tully is the Sales Director of PointOne’s NAP of Virginia Beach. Mr. Tully is a 25 year veteran of the telecommunications industry. After leading sales and services for UUNET in Latin America and the Caribbean he has served stints in a variety of roles in the data center, dark fiber, satellite, subsea cables, and cloud verticals at the executive level. Prior to joining PointOne, Mr. Tully was VP of Business Development for startup Globalinx Data Centers. Mr. Tully was responsible for business growth and promoting the availability of Globalinx Data Centers and build to scale solutions to cloud, telecom, OTT’s, hyperscalers, enterprise and carrier/dark fiber providers. Mr. Tully has a thorough understanding of all North America and international carriers backbone network which enabled him to cultivate a strong ecosystem for the Virginia Beach data center market.
Previously, Mr. Tully was Vice President of International/Carriers at FTS and Vice President of International/Carriers at AiNET where he played major roles in executing sales strategies and driving large enterprise and wholesale colocation and private cloud deployments. Mr. Tully has been characterized over his career for playing a strategic role in building relationships with end clients, agents, partners, dark fiber providers and carriers along with working closely with multi-tenant colocation providers and has a successful track record with executing colocation, interconnections, cloud, and hosting solutions. Mr. Tully holds a BA from the American University School of International Service.
